A Golden Source of Income - Google Adsense

I didn't embrace the idea of Google Adsense ads on my site for quite a while.

"Do I really want to send people away from my site for nickels and dimes?"

Obviously, I missed the potential at first glance. And here are a few important items to point out.

  1. The topic you choose for your site determines how much you make. The more popular the topic among advertisers - the more demand there is online - the more likely you are to make good money. You can make next to nothing on a click - or you can make several dollars.

  2. Google doesn't reveal the percentage they share with their advertising partners. But I estimate that it's approximately 25-30%. So, if an advertiser is willing to spend $1.00 for the click, then Google will share .25-30 cents with you.

  3. Never underestimate the power of consistency. When I began having what I felt was good success using Adsense, the money came in day after day. There are no days off and that's what's great about it. $50 per day, every day, becomes up to $1550 per month. That's $18,250 per year!

  4. I set the bar low when I tell people about this opportunity - intentionally. Showing you how I build sites in this manner, I have always surpassed my daily income goal of 1.00 with each site.

I have used many techniques (some frowned on by the search engines, and they no longer work) and some have produced sites that made $25-30 per day; some that made nothing. I am continually refining my process and testing and what I'm sharing with you is the best approach I've discovered for consistent, long-term results. It's not unreasonable to think a site could make $3-5 per day and more.

FAQ's About Adsense

What is it?

Many advertisers use pay per click advertising to promote their businesses. That means they are willing to pay for advertising that produces a click on their ad and a visitor to their web site. I am sure you've seen "Sponsored Ads" in the search engines. Those are pay per click advertisements.

Advertisers also have the option of choosing to have their ads run on Google's network of content partners. In the past, that type of advertising cooperative only happened with the largest sites. It was a great day when that opportunity became available to anyone with a website.
